E- CAKE SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract:

               Online “E- CAKE SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is a web based application that works within a centralized network . The  aim of the project to provide online portal for the Cake shop where they can sell their cake online direct to the customer . It is a system that enables clients to check for different cakes available at the online store and buy on the web. The project comprises the list of Cakes displayed in different classifications. The client may browse through these things according to classes. The client has additionally option for ordering custom cakes as indicated by their requirements like cake’s flavor, size, shape and etc. In this manner, the online Cake shopping project brings a whole cake shop on the web and makes it simple for both purchaser and dealer.

                (MYSQL) is built for managing and computerizing the traditional database. In addition, HTML, CSS, PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) language was used for the front-end of the software while the back end was designed using MySQL, JavaScript. It is recommended that despite the present functionality of the designed software, an additional functionality such as the use  the Feedback form for to take feedback from customer.

Software Requirements:  SublimeText Editor,Xampp Server.

Features of the system:

Admin login and admin dashboard: It has admin login who is has the authority of the system . Admin can add there cake product on online portal . Admin can see the details about all customer, all employee , all orders , all feedback form from all customer. Admin can also have right to delete the account of employee and customer.

Customer Registration: There is customer registration form available where new customer can create their account by providing required information to the system.

Customer login and customer dashboard: It has customer login who can see all details about own all order,order new cake ,and also give a feedback for product.

Cake Order System: Customer can order cake through a website.

Advantages:

  • This system is effective and saves time of users.
  • Easy registration.
  • Easy to handle website.

Disadvantages:

  • It reduces employment as the human efforts are being automated by this system.
